Site Review - Success with EFT

By Ben | November 20, 2008

Recently I have been working on integrating some of what I have been studying in Accupressure, Qigong, & Energy Work into my site.

One of the many methodologies I have studied is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).

EFT is an incredibly simple method of tapping, breathing, and affirming that is based on the Meridians of Traditional Chinese Medicine… but it does not require you to learn them.  All you have to do is learn around 8 to 14 points (different trainers have different preferences) to tap while you breathe deeply and repeat structured affirmations and/or statements.

The basic concept is that emotional distress is caused by an imbalance in the energy system… so you bring the situation that causes the distress to mind, then use the tapping and deep breathing to bring the energy system back into balance.

Let me stress that this system is incredibly powerful, straightforward, and simple… in fact…

I learned the basics of EFT in less than 20 minutes!

I am still working on the format in which I will be sharing these methods with you…  currently I’m having some technical challenges…

But in the meantime, I have found an excellent site with easy to follow videos that do an excellent job of introducing EFT:

SuccessWithEFT.com!

I encourage you to take your time and look around the Success with EFT website… there is a incredible amount of priceless information… and it won’t cost you a penny.

I haven’t come close to studying all the information this site offers, but I have already read and applied quite a bit.  You can really spend a good amount of time researching on Success with EFT… But to get you started, I suggest you check out the following posts:

  1. EFT - Learn it in Five Minutes:  this is a video that gives you a quick explanation of the process of EFT
  2. Learning How to do EFT the Simple Way:  this is a written out description of the EFT process, and it includes body charts to help you tap the correct points

The current featured video on Success with EFT is also very useful… it teaches you how to use EFT and deep breathing to tap in your good intentions for the day (I wonder what would happen if you were to do this every morning for 30 days…).

I have started using EFT and other energy procedures to augment my practice of meditation and mysticism.  Getting centered energetically before you meditate will allow you to make the meditation much more powerful… and makes it possible to get into a ‘meditative state’ much more quickly.

More often, EFT is used to help you accept, reduce, and/or eliminate specific cases of emotional distress… I have used it for this as well.

EFT has helped me to:

  • Let go of frustration with jobs (bosses, coworkers, and the actual work itself)
  • Let go of frustration over not having a job
  • Get through difficult times in relationships
  • Get past long held anger, pain, & guilt from relationships in the past
  • Stay focused and motivated to continue building and promoting my website
  • Perform better in karate tournaments

I have even used EFT to help reduce joint pain, and eliminate headaches!

In short:

Learn EFT… it will change your life!!!

I suggest you start at SuccessWithEFT.com

It’s a great site.

keep smiling,

ben

I love EFT too and tap on everything with my coaching clients! It’s a great tool in our toolbox!!

My focus is stress management and all the issues (life!) that may fall into that.

    Be well and happy! Eileen
