Have you ever wanted to be able to take a step back… and see things with a clear head?
Have you ever wanted to be able to relax, no matter what the circumstances are?
Have you ever wanted to get a taste of that ever elusive bliss?
I’ve mentioned Neuro Somatic Release on the coaching page. The potential is incredible… for those that are willing to take up the practice!
The basic concept is that we interact with the world through filters we have put in place. Some of them serve us, more often they do not. We are usually unaware of them. To create any significant change in life, we have to change or remove one or more of these filters. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to do this from inside the filters. If you are having car trouble, you usually have to get out of the car in order to assess and repair the issue. The same is true of your mind-body. In order to diagnose or change the structures in your life, you have to be able to step outside of them.
There are many methods of achieving NSR, but some of the basic components are creation of space in what we consider the mind, creation of space in what we consider the body, awareness and acceptance of this mind-body space, and then using that space to leverage the mind body into whatever direction is desired.
To open the body, one simple way is walking combined with deep breathing. The idea is to push yourself just slightly beyond what you are comfortable with. For the very sedentary just the walking will be fine. For the very athletic jogging and deep breathing simultaneously might be necessary.
After the walk, a few moments of meditation or self hypnosis will free up space in the mind. Once this is achieved, take a moment to deeply enjoy the mind-body freedom. Now you can use this space to do more effective affirmations, chakra or energy meditations, goal setting, or anything else you like.
The benefits of properly learned/applied NSR are vast. Some students have used it to:
- achieve greater clarity for creating goals
- create ideal resource states for achieving goals
- improve health
- lose weight
- enjoy increased focus/awareness/alertness
- achieve near blissful states of relaxation
- opening energy centers
This is really only scratching the surface. There are many other techniques to enjoy NSR more quickly and more deeply… but they are only available to my coaching students.
keep smiling,
