Not many people have much skill at being themselves…
They don’t understand themselves on a conceptual level, or a sensory level.
Is there something to you that is created outside your sensory awareness?
Most concepts are created from the building blocks of the senses.
We all see, and we can all make internal pictures.
We all hear, and we can make sounds and speak to ourselves on the inside.
We can all feel bodily sensations, both physically and emotionally.
We all taste and smell.
The question is, what do we do that is experienced outside these activities? What is the nature of non-sensory experience?
For a moment, just consider these sensory experience.
- Are you fully aware of them?
- Do they serve you?
- Have you taken the time to take control of them?
Without awareness of this, we have no power over it!
Take some time to be aware of this in your meditation, and throughout your day. An awareness of the building blocks of self and perceived world is priceless…
keep smiling,
ben
