It has been an interesting series.
I hope you have been playing your meditation games from the previous posts.
If you haven’t, you can fix that right now:
- Finally… Master Meditation Now!,
- Finally… Master Meditation Right Now! (part 2),
- Finally… Master Meditation Right Now! (part 3),
- Finally… Master Meditation Right Now! (part 4)
Most people who want to Master Meditation miss the importance of a crucial element…

This can be the one simple practice that unleashes the inner Buddha…
Relaxation & Acceptance!
Now we might have spoken about relaxation and acceptance once or twice before…
but we haven’t covered it all, and even if you know everything there is to know, then you also know how valuable reviewing important concepts is to your success…
Continually reinforcing all your valuable understandings and practices is an explosively powerful habit for Mastering Meditation Right Now!
To speed us along, I’m going to assume you’re pretty good at relaxing already (if not, check out 101 Proven Tips for Powerful Meditation (part 5))
Now we will walk back through all our practices and weave in relaxation… and as we weave in relaxation more and more, you will begin to cultivate deep and powerful acceptance for all that arises within.
Original Exercises:
- Recognize you are already a Master of Meditation
- Create your environment to reflect the Buddha within
- Notice and further develop your focus
- Make a game of your practice and your life
Now we will add in more attention to the element of relaxation and acceptance…
Exercises Augmented with Acceptance:
Augmented Exercise 1: In the first lesson, you repeated the affirmation “I am a Master of Meditation”… and you noticed and accepted any thoughts or feelings that arose when saying it. Now I want you to focus on relaxing before saying it, while you’re saying it, and after you’ve said it. Allow that deeply relaxed and accepting part within you to accept all that may arise… allow it to accept the other parts that may be present… Accept them… love them (they all want the best for you). Breathe deeply into the acceptance, and the deepening understanding that
I am a Master of Meditation!
Augmented Exercise 2: In this lesson, you created an environment that helped to relax your senses and bring yourself to a place of peace. Now notice how you can bring that internal place of peace into your environment. Recognize in your day to day life, that no matter how gentle your environment is on your senses… you can still relax, accept, and bring some of your internal peace into your environment… you might even move back and forth… notice how you can express your internal peace into your environment, then notice how you environment can foster more and more peace and acceptance within you… and as you take your awareness back and forth, you might notice how you can relax into a deeper state of peace each and every time…
Augmented Exercise 3: Just as you count into focus, so you can count into relaxation and acceptance. Do the same exercise, only count backwards from 10, and notice your relaxation and acceptance doubling with each descending number… if you lose count or focus, that’s fine, just go back through and add in a little more relaxed focus on each number until you reach 1. Allow all the way down. Accept the deeper levels of relaxation.
Augmented Exercise 4: Here we learned to turn the meditation (and all of life) into a game. This implies quite a bit of relaxation and acceptance already, but I know we can deepen it just a little bit more. Smile into the game of life. Notice relaxation and acceptance as a game throughout life. Just how much can you accept? What is the most crazy or off-the-wall thing, person, or behavior you can relax around? How much will you enjoy playing the game of relaxation, acceptance, and peace?
Integrating a more powerful focus on acceptance and relaxation is absolutely essential to your mastery of meditation… and you can do it right now! Begin playing with these drills in every place you can, and in every way you can.
Accept all activity as meditative… and just add in a little bit more relaxation!
Find peace, and open yourself to insight!
Recognize the deeper core of self…
Accept it!
Unleash the Buddha!
Bliss has been caged for entirely too long…
keep smiling,
Ben
