Meditation (Relaxation Techniques)

Earlier this year, I wrote a kindle book called How To Improve Concentration Fast:  Lost Secrets of Focus, Concentration, and Meditation.

A couple of months ago, I created a video on youtube that walks you through one of the exercises in the book.  Take a look:

Is the common experience of deep meditation… anything more than deep relaxation?”

This isn’t to take anything away from the experience.  If the average joe learned to deeply, consciously relax… it would be a profound shift that improves happiness as well as health at all levels (physical, emotional, mental, & spiritual).

Deep relaxation is incredibly profound for three reasons:

  1. We are an incredibly stressed out society
  2. We harbor the delusion that we know how to relax, or are already relaxed
  3. We typically only relax deeply when we are asleep

I just got an article posted on Nigel Coates site, ExploreMeditation.com, that will show you exactly how to relax into meditation, and meditate your way into deep relaxation.

It will also give you some simple ways to more quickly explore deep meditation through a deeper understanding of relaxation.

“What all men are really after is some form, or perhaps only some formula, of peace.” -Joseph Conrad (Author of Heart of Darkness)

In searching the external world for satisfaction, many addictions arise.

Brainwave Entrainment… and more specifically, Binaural Beats… is one of the latest ‘magic bullets’ to hit the market… promising more rapid personal development, easier and deeper meditation (sometimes claiming to allow to meditate deeper than a Zen Monk), and profound experiences at the touch of a button.

I was a little surprised to find out recently, that not only do several celebrities regularly practice meditation… many celebrities are actively encouraging everyone to meditate…

Some of the big names include David Lynch, Miley Cyrus, Clint Eastwood…

“Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life.”

—Eckhart Tolle

There is much talk recently of ‘The Now’ and present moment awareness.

As usual, the talk is frequently absent of deep understanding.

So what is it to have Present Moment Awareness?

How can one experience, and thus deeply understand the Now?

Happy Thanksgiving!

I just wanted to share something that will help you during the holidays… though it is much more powerful if you carry it with you into the rest of your life as well.

There is a simple form of meditation (that is included in most other forms of meditation)… that is very easy to learn, and it has far reaching benefits (work, relationships, health, and happiness).

It is not only the best meditation for beginners, it is the best meditation for virtually everyone.

The Best Meditation for You is…
