I sense the ending of an era.
It has been coming for quite some time…
More and more information is centered around us looking within to find our truth…
…Search the self for the answers (as well as better questions).
As opposed to the traditional method of following the crowd…

One of the great things about ACIM is you won’t necessarily understand exactly what is going on…
Or exactly how it works…
You may not clearly see the strategy…

… but as long as you continue to sincerely play the games you will get better and better results.
Are You Willing to Keep Playing Until You Get Your Results?
A Course in Miracles: Day 9
The game for Day 9 is:
I see nothing as it is now.
This exercise should be done while looking at your immediate environment.
Do your best to apply the exercise evenly to everything you see/experience:
- I do not see this bookshelf as it is now.
- I do not see this computer as it is now.
- I do not see my legs as they are now.
- etc.
After you use this game with your immediate environment, you can extend it out further and further.
The Course reminds us that it is not important to really understand at this point… but it is important to begin to accept that you do not understand.
See how often you can really accept “I see nothing as it is now” about objects or concepts that arise throughout your life.
You will want to practice the exercise a few times throughout the day.
My Experience:
Another quote from ACIM is ideal for this:
“It is difficult for the untrained mind to believe that what it seems to picture is not there. This idea can be quite disturbing, and may meet with active resistance in any number of forms. Yet that does not preclude applying it”
When you see, hear, or feel resistance arising, you can just smile. You knew it was coming… and you might even realize that you don’t even see the resistance as it is now.
The more you get used to allowing it to be… the more your experience of it transforms… the more it ceases to be the frustrating, annoying, or confusing thing… and just becomes something else that arises and subsides.
You can smile as it is born… and you can smile as it passes away!
To make it a little bit easier…
You might also try playing with different methods each time you work with A Course in Miracles throughout the day.
With most of the exercises so far, you should be applying them 3 or 4 different times throughout the day:
- You could do just deep breathing for one
- You could use any of the other Ten Techniques for Relaxation for another
- At another time during the day, you could do some EFT
- You could work with brainwave entrainment for a few minutes before 1 practice period
Play with this, and notice which way seems to give you the most ease and the deepest integration.
